Advising Private Equity Firm on Multimillion-Dollar M&A Deal

Holland & Knight's M&A, maritime, taxation, private equity and corporate services attorneys advised Southern Cross Group in the sale of its portfolio company UP Offshore to a newly created joint venture. The multimillion-dollar transaction included complex debt structures negotiated with respect to several maritime jurisdictions across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Holland & Knight announced the expansion of the firm's Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry Group, a cross-disciplinary team of more than 400 experienced attorneys covering virtually every segment of the healthcare industry.

Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that the attorneys and staff of notable business law firm Cuberos Cortés Gutiérrez (CCG) have joined Holland & Knight's Bogotá office. The group includes 28 lawyers: seven partners, two senior counsels and 19 associates, as well as four law clerks and various administrative staff.

Our energy attorneys achieved a milestone for the Bay State Wind Project, making it the first offshore wind project designated as a covered project under Title 41 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act. Participation will provide greater efficiencies and time savings in the federal permitting process, and help the Project meet its targeted in-service date.
